The Chicago Cubs are one of Major League Baseball’s oldest franchises – and, overall, their uniforms have always reflected that. Over the past decade we’ve seen the team celebrate over a century of history in exciting ways, donning memorabilia from different eras, but in 2022 it’s mostly coming back to three looks – with the looks returning. If you want some traditional then you’re probably a huge fan of the team’s road look. A gray top with “CHICAGO” in capital letters on the chest with the player’s number underneath and on the back, along with their last name is about as secure as it gets.

I’d love to see the team bring back the angry bear look of the 1980s one way or another, even if it only replaces the alternate logo on the left sleeve. I understand that the road grays are a part of baseball history and have a special place in the hearts of fans, but, come on, we can do better here.
